WBF Quadruple Header, a ‘HUGE’ success for Reid Boxing Promotions in Las Vegas, Nevada USA

In a historical promotion for the WBF in Las Vegas, Nevada USA recently, Reid Boxing Promotions boss Mr. Stephen Reid staged not one, not two, but four WBF Championship title fights on February 22nd at the Westgate Hotel and Casino.

The capacity crowd in attendance were treated to some amazing talent and hard-fought title fights on a full professional card matched by Mr. Jason Vincent of Las Vegas, Nevada –

Vacant WBF United States ‘Silver’ Heavyweight Title

Antonio Zepada (USA) and Zeno Vooris (USA)

You never know what you are going to get when two up and coming heavyweights face off. Vooris, who was undefeated before facing Zepada, put his ‘0’ on the line in a risky fight, taking on a heavy-handed fighter who was stepping through the ropes with a 100% KO rate in all his wins to date. Well, Zepada did not disappoint his fans at the Westgate Casino and Hotel by quickly dispatching Vooris in 2 rounds.

Vacant WBF United States ‘Silver’ Flyweight Title

David Alaverdian (USA) and Josue Morarles (USA)

Unofficially deemed the Fight of the Night was for the vacant WBF United States Silver Flyweight title. Non-stop action that had the crowd on its feet from the opening bell to the final bell. David Alaverdian remains undefeated at 9-0-1 and has now moved into the WBF Top 10 Flyweights, with that World Title shot looming for the Israeli rising star …….

Vacant WBF International Cruiserweight Title

Bitton Norwood (USA) and Alvin Jarmall Jr (USA)

In this much anticipated fight, Britton Norwood edged out a willing Varmall Jr in a nail biter that really could have gone either way. A split decision win to Norwood was the general consensus by those in attendance and yes, the judges saw it the same way.

Vacant WBF Women’s International Light Flyweight Title

Yadira Bustillos (USA) and Tamara Demarco (Argentina)

Las Vegas loves a women’s title fight, and this one did not disappoint. Fan favourite Yadira Bustillos (USA) entered the ring wearing her royal robe and crown, and ready to face the unknown, in the very experienced Argentinian Tamara Demarco. In a truly international title bout, Demarco gave it her all, but it was Bustillos who was too good on the night with the referee seeing enough and stopping the bout in the 7th round.
