The WBF Executive welcomes Mr Ruddock Ndou of South Africa, brother of former World Champion and current WBF International Legal Counsel Lovemore Ndou as its newest addition to the WBF Coordinating Team of Supervisors.
Ruddock had an outstanding amateur boxing career and after turning professional in 1995 had 7 fights with only a single loss on his record. A well educated gentleman, Ruddock also has a number of University Bachelor and Masters Degrees to his name.
After retiring from boxing he continued to work with his brother Lovemore as a mentor and assistant trainer. He worked Lovemore's corner for most of his World Title fights including a bout in Mexico with current superstar and World Champion Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.
Ruddock now resides in Polokwane, South Africa and still lives and breathes the sport of boxing as he continues to contribute to this great sport in many ways including the building and establishment of a new boxing gym in the Limpopo area in honour of his and his brother Lovemore's promoter the esteemed Mr William Madzivhandila who had guided both men successfully throughout their respective careers.
With a wealth of knowledge from both sides of the ropes, Ruddock is certainly a valued new member of the WBF and will definitely make an impact in crowning WBF champions throughout the All Africa's with the first order of business to re-establish the WBF 'All Africa's' Championship title which will mirror other WBF Regional 8 Round titles around the world such as the European, United States, United Kingdom and Australasian titles.
The WBF wishes Mr Ruddock Ndou every success with his new appointment as he endeavours to guide African boxers along the path to success and glory in their chosen sport.
